Svobodová, Tereza ; Stehlík, Michal (advisor) ; Junek, Marek (referee)
The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to present a view of the Sázava Monastery in the context of the place of memory, especially by analyzing its current historical role and form of exhibition, to define the nature of missing topics in its history, including practical installation, which is a historically neglected chapter. The basis of the work is the history of the Sázava Monastery and the importance of the place of memory. It will focus on the theory and practice of creating an installation, in the form of a description and analysis of the current exhibition on Slavic education, which has housed the Sázava Monastery since 1983. It will also present a form of exhibition in other Benedictine monasteries and marginally monasteries of other orders. The next part will include the topic of neglected chapters from history, including a practical proposal. The work will include both the methodological part in the field of memory studies and the history of a particular place, as well as the practical part of the original design, all necessarily based on work with sources and literature. Keywords: monastery, monk, Benedictines, memory, Sazava, installation, Baroque
